I'm experiencing this same problem. My note 7 worked fine on the same WiFi network a few hours ago. I traded my note 7 in for this j7 yesterday. I tried installing some apps on the WiFi network at the the tmobile store with no luck and I assumed it would work at home.

On my home WiFi, still no luck downloading apps, they queue up and sit forever, as soon as i turn off WiFi they download immediately. This is an odd problem to have.

Have you tried the steps provided by SamsungJuan given earlier in the thread? I am having the same issue, even though it used to download apps like nothing, and now apps are stuck on "waiting to download" and they never do. Have tried everything that was mentioned, even clearing data and cache and still have the same issue, what else is there to try? I really need to download an app, and just can't. Then log back in and turn Auto-Download Updates back on again.

Restart your device, open the Play Store again, and try to download the app again. If you have a lot of apps on your phone, sometimes the Google Store can get a little overloaded which can result in an unsuccessful installation. Do everything you can to clear your cache and try again. Sometimes just restarting the entire phone rather than just your Google app or Force Restarting your device from the settings menu will work too if all other methods fail.
